The CLHSMUN society proudly inaugurated the 2024 CLHS English Intraschool Asian Parliamentary Debate, a four-day event held within the F6 Block from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM daily. This initiative aimed to cultivate critical thinking, enhance public speaking proficiency, and foster a deeper understanding of contemporary issues among the student body. The competition featured ten teams, comprising thirty participants, who engaged in rigorous Asian Parliamentary-style debates.
The successful execution of this event was attributed to the exemplary leadership of Chairman Jack Wong and Head of Secretariat Beh Yi Jiun. Their meticulous planning and diligent oversight ensured the smooth progression of the competition, providing a platform for students to showcase their intellectual prowess. The 2024 CLHS English Intraschool Asian Parliamentary Debate not only provided a valuable learning experience for participants but also contributed significantly to the academic enrichment of the school community.
